The Sun Team Group

Amrav is a primary shareholder of the Sun Team Group, an Israeli renewable energy company that initiates, plans, implements and operates solar plants to generate electrical energy from the sun. Sun Team specializes in entrepreneurship for renewable energy production facilities. The principal company activity focuses on the initiation, planning, construction and operation of facilities that generate electricity from solar energy using photovoltaic technology for both roof and land array installations.

Sun Team provides a comprehensive renewable energy solution that covers every aspect of a solar plant’s operation, from the stage of obtaining all the necessary permits and licenses required to generate electricity, through the construction and ongoing operation of power stations generating and selling electricity to the Israel Electric Corporation.

As of June 2012, the company holds licenses for the production of approximately 15 megawatts of electricity, with some energy production already connected to the grid and some in the construction or final permit-attaining stages. In addition, a few tens of megawatts electricity production projects are in development.

Sun Team’s vision is to establish its activities as a significant player in the Israeli renewable energy industry and to expand the scope of its investments overseas. The Sun Team Group itself owns and operates a number of project companies, including Lamed Gimel Roofs, Sun Team, and Sun Team Talmei Yosef. Sun Team is publicly traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Other principal owners of Sun Team include Mer Group Industries (also publicly traded on the TASE) and Mr. Gustavo Traiber.
